Sir Simon Rattle's British Music

Sir Simon Rattle has made a commitment to open each of his seasons with the London Symphony Orchestra with a programme celebrating the breadth and depth of British Music. On 14 September 2019, he opened his third season as LSO Music Director with a concert including the world premiere of Antisphere by Emily Howard, followed by Colin Matthews’ unique Violin Concerto and topped with Walton’s fiery First Symphony.
