Barber Blues, a piece by the jazz pianist and composer Gwilym Simcock, originally appeared on the album 'Internationally Recognised Aliens' by The Impossible Gentlemen. For this recording, part of his ongoing collaboration with the LSO Percussion Ensemble, Simcock made a special new arrangement for piano and mallet quartet.
