Soweto Kinch: Soundtrack to the Apocalypse

PRE-ORDER: Album released 20 November 2026

Regular price £31.50

Recorded live with the London Symphony Orchestra, this album captures the final chapter of Soweto Kinch’s powerful trilogy, following The Black Peril and White Juju.

Having explored perspectives on the past and present, Soundtrack to the Apocalypse ventures into speculative territory—a futuristic meditation on collapse and renewal. Apocalyptic visions collide with spiritual reflection and cutting-edge sonic experimentation. The work features Kinch’s first use of the aerophone (electronic saxophone) alongside a hip hop-inspired sequence of short, high-impact tracks, echoing the fractured, scroll-speed rhythm of contemporary life.

“Despite the title, this isn’t about doom,” Kinch explains. “The Greek root of ‘apocalypse’ means ‘to unveil’. This music is about revealing—not just what’s wrong, but what might still be possible.”

Available digitally and as a deluxe double LP, this release invites listeners to relive the full intensity of a landmark live performance.
